Wendy's personal best is seventeen books read in a week, while actively avoiding looking at any of the other children in her new grade four class.

Stories provided both shelter and new worlds to explore Wendy while moving around the country as a child.

From Chatham, Ontario through Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Esquimalt, British Columbia and many other places between, stories gave young Wendy a person to share with.
